When it comes to treatments for Keratoconus there are several things you should consider. Many of us are worried about the more invasive treatments but the Holcomb C3-R ® is non-invasive and has been shown to be effective since 2003. The treatment uses natural vitamin called Riboflavin to stimulate the fibers within your cornea to build new crosslinks. The treatment continues to work over time and it often takes 4-16 weeks for you to get the complete effect. Your cornea will continue to strengthen over this period.
